1. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly. When you register for a workshop, join a waitlist, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and any message you send. When you pay, our payment processor collects your billing details. We never see or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we log your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view, and the time of your visit.
Information from forms and checkout. Registration and contact forms on this site are processed by third parties named in section 3. Anything you type into those forms is handled under both this policy and theirs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use what we collect to deliver the workshop or service you registered for, send confirmations, receipts, reminders, and logistics for events you have booked, answer your questions, process payments and refunds, keep records we are required to keep, improve the site and our training, and send marketing about our own workshops and programs where you have agreed to receive it.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. How We Share Information
We share information with service providers who help us run the business. Each is named here so you can read their own policy:
- MoonClerk and Stripe — checkout and payment processing for workshop registrations.
- LeadConnector / GoHighLevel — our CRM. It stores your contact record and sends our email and SMS messages.
- JotForm — processes the contact form on this site.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel — measures our advertising and lets us show ads to people who have visited this site. See section 5.
- StatCounter — website analytics, including IP address and pages viewed.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on this site.
- Zoom — hosts our virtual workshops. See section 6.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to a successor if the business is sold.
4. Email and SMS Communications
Email. If you register for a workshop we will email you confirmations, receipts, and the details you need to attend. These are transactional and you receive them because you bought something. We may also send marketing emails about our workshops and programs. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not stop the transactional messages about a session you have already paid for.
SMS. By providing your mobile number at registration and agreeing to our terms, you give express written consent to receive text messages from NLP DFW and León Coaching Group LLC about your registration, event reminders and logistics, and occasional promotions.
- Message frequency varies. Expect roughly 1 to 6 messages per month, plus reminders around a session you have booked.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to opt out. Reply HELP for help.
- Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchase. If you would rather not receive them, tell us and we will mark your record accordingly.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your mobile number is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own marketing. It is shared only with the messaging providers who deliver our texts.
5. Advertising and Tracking
This site runs the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. It records that you visited a page, scrolled, clicked a registration button, or completed a purchase, and reports that to Meta so we can measure our advertising and show ads to people who have visited. We do not send Meta your name, email, or phone number from this site.
You can limit this through your Facebook ad settings, your browser's cookie controls, or a tracking blocker. Blocking it does not affect your ability to register or attend.
6. Live Sessions and Recording
Our virtual workshops run on Zoom. Sessions are not currently recorded. If we ever decide to record one, we will say so before it starts and you will be able to keep your camera off, and to leave. In-person workshops are not recorded. If we take photographs at an in-person session for promotional use, we will ask you at the event and you may decline.
7. Data Security and Retention
This site is served over HTTPS and payments are handled by PCI-compliant processors. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep contact records for as long as you are on our list or engaged with us, and we keep transaction and tax records for as long as the law requires. Ask us to delete your information and we will, except where we are required to keep it.
8. Your Rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, unsubscribe from marketing email, or reply STOP to marketing texts. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Texas does not currently give residents a general private right to demand deletion, but we honour these requests from anyone who asks, wherever you live.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links
This site links to other websites, including ricardoleon.net and the tools named in section 3. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Read their policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The Effective Date at the top will change when we do. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be announced by email to anyone on our list.
